COACH cuz my tshirt sez so.

Coach got his nickname after showing up at a race wearing a t-shirt that said so. Since no one had or wanted the job, he got it. He's an interior designer by profession but if he weren't doing this he would have rearranged people's faces...as a plastic surgeon.

He has quite a history of riding, having been on some sort of bike for the last 25 years. Some of his recent past bikes would be the envy of many. A Look KG66, Kestrel EMS200, Klein Quantum Pro, Trek 5900 Superlight, Trek Madone and a Quintana Roo Lucero. His current rides are a Time VXRS, Pinarello Dogma, Litespeed Ghisallo and an Orbea Ordu.

A man cannot ride for so many years without a supportive spouse, and in fact, Chen-Ai is the one that is most responsilble for influencing him to ride. His dream road bike is a Colnago Extreme C with a Campy Super Record 11 speed groupset. As you can see having not owned a single mountain bike, he has no lust in that category.

His best advice received is 'try drafting behind someone.' As so his best advice is to 'try to draft someone.' Quite poetic. His best cycling moments come when being able to keep up with Lippy or Diesel for a short period of time. His worst cycling experience was when he had 2 punctures in a duathlon.

Best cycling related purchase was a Polar HRM. But he warns all to stay away from Fizik saddles. They just don't seem to last for Coach. His bexst non-cycling related purchase is a pair of Newton running shoes cos they make him go a little bit faster. And that's really all we are looking for, isn't it. His worst non-cycling purchase are a pair of Barracuda Goggles. They never seem to fit his face and always leak in the pool.
