High Note

He brought his own nickname, Squeaky, to the team. Why Squeaky? Well, he thinks he has a squeaky voice. Hmm… after a fair bit of discussion, we have decided to upgrade Squeaky to Hi-Note, sort of like High Road.

He currently works as a motor vehicle sales person. If he weren’t doing this, he would like to be a beach bum.

He’s been riding for a number of years but has only been seriously putting in the miles over the last 18 months. He has owned a Trek Y-22 MTB and a Cannondale Six 13 but his current rides are an Orbea Orca and a Colnago President (waiting to be build up). His dream road bike is a Pinarello Prince and his dream MTB bike is a Trek Top Fuel 9.9SSL.

The person that most influenced him to ride is his late wife, Judy.

The best advice he’s received about riding is to ‘just enjoy the ride.’ And to anyone who asks he tells them to ‘pedal your heart out.’

His best cycling moment was an epic climb up Genting Highlands. His worst cycling moment came when he crashed after hitting the kerb on his second ride.

As a careful shopper, he hasn’t made any bad cycling-related purchases and he considers all his purchases good. However, he does own a whole bunch of jerseys that he doesn’t want to wear… not since he got his T@ suit.
